IMPORTANT: Change in Schedule for Saturday, 2/7 Preseason Training

A few important updates…

CAYA PRESEASON TRAINING – TIME CHANGES FOR SATURDAY

Unfortunately, due to a scheduling snafu there will a change in time to the preseason training time slots for THIS Saturday, February 7th. All other dates will go ahead as originally scheduled (weather permitting). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. If your child is unable to attend their scheduled time slot but an earlier or later one may work please contact your regional director.

Please see new time slots below.

9:00-10:10am
U8/U9 Boys
WRAL Durham Bulls
10:20-11:30am
U10 Boys
WRAL Durham Bulls
11:40-12:50pm
U8/U9/U10 Girls
WRAL Durham Bulls

*Please note the GIRLS have been moved to the 3rd time slot as we would like for them to stay at the fields and support their CASL sisters. The U18 ECNL team will pull on their CASL jerseys for the final time and we would love for the CAYA army of girls to be out in full force to support them.

U18 ECNL vs Richmond United @ WRAL Travers Lasik – Saturday, Feb 7th 2pm kickoff

We would love for ALL the CAYA girls to bring a packed lunch with them to the field on Saturday.

·         If it’s COLD – We invite the girls to hang out with the coaches in the OSNC building and watch some of the Merseyside Derby between Everton and Liverpool before heading out to the game.
·         If it’s NICE out – the forecast right now is sunny and high 50’s. Perfect picnic weather! There will be other ECNL games kicking off at 12pm and therefore the girls can eat and watch the back end of some action packed games. Or if you prefer you can grab some lunch as a family and come back for the game.

Ultimately, we would like for as many CAYA players/families as possible to be there for the 2pm kickoff sporting their ORANGE jerseys to help make the day extra special and to show the class of the CASL family!!!

Please see the following note from Sean Nahas, ECNL Director and U18 Coach:

“When we think about how much time, effort and energy these girls have put into this club, it makes you want to show how much we appreciate them and what they do/have done for CASL each and every day.  We are trying to get as many CASL players as we can to come out and give back to them by showing our support and gratitude.  They have been role models to the younger girls and for most of them, this is going to be a pretty emotional game.  It would be great to line the fields with CASL and CAYA players who are there to support them and send them off with class. “

CAYA CUP ROSTERS

We plan to have CAYA Cup schedules and rosters out by THIS Friday at the latest. If your player is UNAVAILABLE for the event on Saturday, Feb 14th please communicate this with your regional director ASAP. Thanks in advance!

Apologies once again and we look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday evening!
