Weekend Recap and Other Info

Weekend Recap:
We hope the players enjoyed the opportunity to scrimmage last weekend. As coaches the games were very valuable in gauging the level of our players/team and also enabling us to better get to know the players. It was incredibly hot so thanks to everyone for ensuring the players were well hydrated and ready for action.

With CAYA being in its second year CASL have made the decision to reward those families returning to the program. The cards have just arrived and we hope to have them available for collection next week. Your regional director will arrange the best way to get cards to whom this applies.

EPL Weekend TV Schedule

No CAYA games or training for the next 2 weekends. Enjoy the opportunity to take in a game or two and help further your son or daughters understanding. Even if you are not a soccer expert or you are learning the game yourself. Try and do it together. Find a team, learn about their history and traditions and root them on. If you are still looking for a team, see last week's posting. The pick of this weekend's games for me would be Everton v Arsenal on Saturday afternoon and even better the Monday afternoon game between last year's champions, Manchester City and the mighty Liverpool.
