U10 Players Needed!
On Saturday evening CASL will be holding a Kickoff Event at WakeMed Soccer Park (201 Soccer Park Dr, Cary) for the Challenge and Recreation programs within the club. As part of the event a few of the coaches and I will be running a few sessions and we are in need of 16 players. We would like to offer this out to any U10 boy or girl. We would need them to be at WakeMed from 4:00-5:30pm. Please use this link to sign up: CASL Kickoff Event - Players Needed!!!

EPL Kicks Off Saturday
On one final note. As an  Englishman I may be biased but I strongly believe the English Premier League is the best domestic soccer league in the world. It is the most watched league and in my opinion the most entertaining, It may not be the prettiest at times. It may not have the most technical players. It may not have many British players (probably a good thing). BUT it is certainly exciting!!!

Don't have a team? Then get one. I myself have adopted the following american teams for various reasons:
Buffalo Bills (NFL)
Buffalo Sabres (NHL)
Boston Red Sox (MLB)
Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA)
Portland Timbers (MLS)

I would encourage you to do a better job selecting a team than I did. Especially, if it is glory you seek..However, the main reason for me sharing this info with you is to try and help further your child's passion for the game and also increase their soccer IQ. Watching the game at the highest levels is a great tool for learning and if you can get involved in the EPL as parents then it will certainly help and lead to some interesting discussions in your household.
