CAYA Update - 8/27

I hope this post finds you well.

Note: There will be no CAYA or CASL Training on Monday, September 1st in accordance with Labor Day

NC Champions League Schedule
Apologies for the delay in getting this to you. We had hoped to get this out much sooner but a group pulled out at the last minute due to some problems on their end. We have managed to work the schedule so that each team is slated to have nine games this fall (weather permitting). We hope that by holding off until now to get the link to you that there will be very minimal changes, if any at all. Thank you for your patience during this period!

U10-U11 NCYSA Academy Schedule
Four U10 boys and Two U10 girls CAYA teams will play in the NCYSA Academy this fall.

CAYA Gift Cards - returning players to CAYA this year will receive a $70 gift card this Thursday at practice. Your regional directors will communicate how and where to pick them up.

CAYA Cup to be played on Saturday, November 1st at WRAL. More info to come.

EPL Weekend TV Schedule:
Long weekend with no CAYA games coming up. Fear not there is a full schedule of EPL games coming up. Pick of the games this weekend have to be:
  1. Burnley vs Manchester Utd - Will the red devils horrible run continue? They have picked up 1 point from the first two EPL games and then getting trounced 4-0 in the league cup midweek by a team two divisions below them.
  2. Everton vs Chelsea - Everton served up a great game at home to Arsenal last weekend and will provide the first real test for one of this year's favorites for the title.
  3. Tottenham vs Liverpool - 2 teams sure to be challenging for the top four. With Liverpool having lost on Monday to Manchester City and Tottenham winning both their games this year, this game will provide lots of excitement, especially with Super Mario Balotelli in line to make his debut for the Reds.
