Happy Friday

CAYA Parents,

I hope this post finds you all doing well.  Several bits of information below that are important for us all to read.  We are really excited about the 2013-2014 season.

Parent Information

I urge you to read the document entitled CAYA Parent Information.  On the CAYA blog homepage it is on the right hand side.  Please read this document closely.   There is some very helpful information in this document and it was created to help you learn more about the CAYA program.

Team Manager

Now that we have our teams formed for the coming fall seasons I'd like to ask if we can get team managers in place for our teams.  Each team will need a team manager.  Essentially a team manager helps with communicating things to their respective team.  The role is an important one as we always need help with communication in addition to the emails that we send and of course the posts on the CAYA blog.

If you are interested in volunteering to be a team manager please contact asap:

Boys Teams Mark Jonas @ mark.jonas@caslnc.com

Girls Teams  Andy Truex @ andy.truex@caslnc.com

Registration

Each player in the CAYA Program must register.  This link will posted by Friday of next week.  Once this link goes live we will ask that families register asap.  It will be as simple as clicking on the link and completing the registration process.  Reminder- You will need to register again in the spring.  I will post on the blog when the link is live.

Communication

We will do our best to keep the lines of communication open so that you are all aware of what is going on and what the plan is with training, games etc.  Please understand there are over 300 players in our progam this coming year which of course is very exciting.  If you ever have a question please don't hesitate to contact us.

CAYA Calender

We are working on a calender as we speak and hope to have something out in the coming weeks.   We hope the calender will help with your planning for the upcoming season.

Happy Friday

CAYA Families,

Several reminders below.  Please read closely so you know what is going on.

1.  Tryout numbers are posted on the blog so families know if they have been offered a spot in the program.  Congratulations to all of the players being offered a spot in our CAYA Program for the 2013-2014 season.

2.  Per the meetings held during tryouts we certainly hope you will each accept the roster spot in our program regardless of the team assignment.  Players will continue to be evaluated during the fall season and teams will be reshuffled at the conclusion of the fall season based on the rate at which players have developed.  This is very important for you to understand.  We have done our best to place players in an environment we feel will help them grow and develop as a player.

3.  Coaches will begin making phone calls today.  Please understand some of our coaches have full time jobs so they may need to call after work today.  We hope to have all calls completed by Saturday evening.  Once all calls are completed we will post on the blog.  Again be patient.  This is very important as we all work together to finalize the acceptance process.

4.  The phone conversation will likely be short and sweet as each coach works through their respective roster/rosters.

4.  If your son/daughter has not been offered a spot in our program we would encourage you to consider attending our challenge tryouts.  For specific information please visit http://www.caslnc.com/Default.aspx?tabid=201880

5.  Once teams get finalized we will be sending out more information.  So again look out for that.

Have a great weekend!
